Snow Day in Spokane

Snow is not uncommon in our area this time of year. In fact, in December snow is expected. What isn’t expected is to set an all time record for snowfall in a 24 hour period. I just got in from snow blowing my driveway for the third time in the same 24 hour period. I measured the depth of snow in two places in my yard one registered at 23 inches and the other at just shy of 25 inches deep.

Driving conditions in Spokane were awful today. After a treacherous drive in to the office this morning Shawn and I decided to shut down the office. In fact, it was so bad in that this article: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008535259_webspokane18m.html from the Seattle Times made the homepage of the Drudge Report.

In light of the conditions I have decided to take the day off from creating a real blog. I will return tomorrow with some interesting Actionscript things I have been learning on my current project.
