Sacrifice your Girlfriend for a Whopper
Nothing says I love you like deleting your whining girlfriend from your Facebook friend list and now you can do it in style! Thanks to Burger King you can now exchange your useless girlfriend and 9 of her stupid friends for a mouth watering Whopper from Burger King.
Note: If you’re not cool enough to have a girlfriend then you can delete 10 people that made fun of you in high school.
Thanks to a genius new social media campaign by Burger King, you can get a Whopper by using their new Facebook Application to remove 10 friends from your friend list. In exchange for removing these 10 friends you will get a Whopper. Everyone has at least 10 people on their friends list they don’t care about, don’t know, or don’t remember. I was just talking to Deanna (Who never updates her blog) about this yesterday and she said she has tons of friends on her Facebook friend list from high school that she is too cool to remember. Once your friend is deleted, a notice will appear on their friend feed letting them know they were worth less than 1/10th of a Whopper.
This is a fantastic social media marketing piece because it is creating a buzz. It is also fun, funny, and you actually get a material item from using it. It is also a great way for people to judge if they’re useless to society. If you notice that you are consistently being exchanged for Whoppers then you might need to start providing some value to your friendships.
