Fall in Spokane – The Finch Arboretum is Cold in the Morning

So Sunday morning I had the bright idea to visit the Finch Arboretum off Sunset Highway in Spokane. Kayla and I attend Life Center on Sundays so a quick stop at the Finch Arboretum in the morning before it got busy seemed like a great idea to me. Luckily we brought jackets. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning but the temperature was a balmy 28 degrees and the grass was frozen stiff.

We wandered around for about a half hour and by the time we made it back to the car we were both frozen to the bone. I was so cold when we arrived at Life Center I opted for two cups of orange tea instead of my usual single cup. Anyway, I have attached a few photos from the Finch Arboretum. The colors were beautiful, I think if we wouldn’t have been so cold we could have done a better job of capturing the scene but maybe next time I will wear 5 layers so I can focus on the photography instead of maintaining body warmth.
